At Realmstead Educational Immersive Events, we bring history, folklore, literature, and the performing arts to life through dynamic, interactive experiences that engage the senses and spark the imagination. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating unforgettable seasonal festivals and educational programming that inspire lifelong learning, cultural appreciation, and community connection.

Each year, we produce four large-scale immersive events—each spanning two-three weekends—celebrating seasonal traditions through richly themed worlds. From the icy wonder of our Frost & Fire: Viking Lantern Festival, to the blooming enchantment of FaBloom: Spring Fairy Art, Tea & Flower Festival, the shadowed literary depths of The Hollowing: Festival of Darkness, and the mythic maritime mischief of Krakenmas: A Pirate Christmas, our events blend historical accuracy, literary wonder with theatrical flair.

Our team has decades of experience in immersive design and performance, having produced past events including full-scale Winter Wonderlands, Historical Pirate Reenactments, Theatrical Halloween Walkthroughs, and Performing Arts Workshops for all ages. These experiences inform our current mission—to make education exciting by placing guests inside the story.

Casey Loper

Casey is a visionary leader with global experience, having worked for world-renowned destinations like Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort.

He specializes in overseeing immersive, guest-focused experiences that balance creativity with operational excellence. Drawing inspiration from his life around the world, Casey works with his team to create inclusive and innovative projects that resonate across cultures.

A long-time member of the cosplay community, he brings a deep understanding of storytelling and community engagement to every endeavor. His passion for detail and dedication to guest experience ensures each project blends fantasy and functionality. Casey’s leadership transforms bold ideas into meaningful, real-world experiences.

CJ Sugita-Jackson

CJ has been developing, producing and entertaining in events for over 30 years.

In addition to his entertainment background, he has been a freelance Business Development and Marketing Strategist for over 10 years working with small businesses and event companies to assist them in launching or redirecting their businesses.

CJ has a PhD in Philosophy of World Religions

Mike Johnson

Mike is a seasoned risk and financial crime expert with over 15 years of experience in designing, building, and leading high-impact fraud and compliance programs. His career spans the spectrum of risk management—from strategic advisory roles to hands-on leadership in operations, risk-management, and regulatory remediation. He has consistently delivered results in both traditional financial institutions and fast-moving startup environments.

Bailey Schmitt

Bailey is an experienced leader with over 15 years in management and 20 years in customer service. Throughout her career, Bailey has successfully developed and led high-performing teams, managed multi-site properties, and implemented systems that streamlined operations and drove growth. With a strong background in leadership, property management, and team development, Bailey combines corporate expertise with creative vision to achieve measurable results. As a Business Development Manager, Bailey has a proven track record of growing teams, strengthening organizations, and turning strategy into action.

Operations Manager, Realmstead Faire

Matt Goodrich

Matt is a classically trained actor and director. His studies culminated at the William Esper Studio in New York, New York. He used his training to help develop and run the theatre group NoExit, bringing magic and whimsy to Indianapolis through performance art and stage productions. Matt has also pursued many other avenues including realestate, education, sales, and management. Most recently Matt has participated in an internationally recognized sales management team, leading a 60 million dollar company to new heights through collaboration, systems development, and implementation.

Creative Development & Educational Director, Realmstead Faire

Jacob Eaddy

Jacob Eaddy is an industry professional in the world of entertainment with over a decade and a half of experience as a director, producer, and instructor of the performing arts along with over two decades as a performer in various disciplines including, singing, dancing, acting, and even puppetry. He has brought all of these experiences together to help create 4 academic arts programs for various schools and churches, 1 homeschool performing arts co-op, and 2 entertainment companies. He now looks forward to bringing his expertise in immersive and educational storytelling to the RealmStead Team!

He has a BA in Legal Studies: Entertainment Law from The University of Central Florida and is a certified Drama teacher with the state of Florida.

Executive Assistant

Arielle (Cory) aylor

Arielle Taylor is a seasoned executive assistant with over two decades of experience in the Renaissance festival industry and more than 10 years of administrative expertise. As the Executive Assistant to the President and Vice President of Realmstead, she plays a pivotal role in coordinating high-level operations, streamlining communication, and supporting executive initiatives that bring immersive, historical entertainment to life. Her background includes a decade of administrative work in the bridal event industry, where she honed her skills in organization, client relations, and high-stakes event coordination before bringing that precision to Realmstead.

Secretary, Realmstead Faire

Bobbie Minton

Armed with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and questing toward a Bachelor’s in Data Analytics (because few things spark joy like a beautifully built spreadsheet), Bobbie brings over a decade of experience in logistics to the Realmstead administrative team. With an analytical mind and a heart full of stories, she excels at solving problems, coordinating chaos, encouraging efficiencies and supporting the vision behind the magic.

As an Administrative Assistant, Bobbie aspires to help wherever she can to bring Realmstead’s dream of an inclusive, immersive, and life-altering experience to life. She thrives on building elegant solutions in Excel and wrangling workflow dragons with Airtable and analytics dashboards.
